10060.org is an Industrial Standard Body, not a Law Firm or Government Agency. Reference to specific regulations, including but not limited to Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 (EUDR), Directive (EU) 2024/825 (Green Claims), and Directive (EU) 2022/2464 (CSRD), is provided for technical context. Adoption of the 10060.org Standard does not guarantee immunity from regulatory prosecution. Authorized Economic Operators (Retailers and OEM-Cs) are solely responsible for obtaining independent legal counsel to verify their specific compliance obligations within their operating jurisdictions.
3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Consortium, its Secretariat, Members, and Affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use of, or reliance upon, the standards and data provided herein.
Specific Exclusion: The Consortium explicitly disclaims liability for any regulatory fines, including the "4% Turnover Penalty" under the Green Claims Directive, incurred by Operators who misapply the standard or fail to maintain Chain of Custody integrity.
III. DATA INTEGRITY & FORENSIC INTEGERS
The "Golden Numbers" (↓47% Carbon, ↓58% Water, 0% Tree) are derived from third-party verified sources, including SGS Report No. 43777 and ISO 14040/44 Life Cycle Assessments.
Scope: These metrics apply exclusively to materials produced by Authorized OEM Members that strictly adhere to the 10060.org manufacturing protocol.
Variance: The Consortium does not warrant that materials produced outside the Authorized Member Network will achieve these performance or environmental metrics.
